It is too sad that there are so many in San Diego who would waste their time hacking up Mike Aguirre. The U-T is indeed shameless, Voice is a conduit for the same type of activity, and CityBeat’s bloggers seem to be jockeying for a better paying future job as contributors at the Voice. I have no trouble understanding what Aguirre meant. And I have better things to do with my time than belittle people for imprecise use of language, when their ideas represent the language of concern for the people they serve.

Now, I’m off: I need to implement my own efforts to plan a route of escape from the city, should the winds all blow wrong and we end up with Steve Francis as mayor and Alan Bersin as city attorney.
