   Hello there, Mindless Robot – glad to see you made your way over here to this site.

   All I can really say is that, at this point, if I wasn’t Sunday-only in the LJS, I wouldn’t be in the LJS at all. And so we worked together to come up with a way to add cartoon value to hopefully make up for the loss of Wednesday’s cartoon by adding color. I don’t know if you see the cartoons in print or just on the web, but starting last week, they’re in color in print too.

   As far as making up for the frequency of new cartoons here, the Omaha Reader will be running a second cartoon each week on their website. The pattern will typically be to have a local cartoon in print and a more nationally-oriented cartoon as a web exclusive. So the total number of cartoons per week should be maintained.

   Of course, you’re always welcome to write the Journal Star and demand more cartoons.
