What in Hell do you mean she “paint(ed) herself as a martyr”? Even if she never opened her mouth; she’s been dragged through the mud by the media!! For no other reason than answering a question she was asked!! Then she was told to “apologize” for offending gays! When the President, Vice President, and most of the general public feel the exact same way as she does about gay marriage!! Unbelievable! You are obviously not paying attention. And where did this notion come from that Christians can’t participate in a beauty pageant? It’s not like it’s a strip joint nor a whore house. But some are making it out to be.

If she had answered the question to certain people’s liking; none of this would be happening; and you know it.

Awesome, Neal– I agree with this cartoon 100%.

Still, though, isn’t it ridiculous that everyone is paying so much attentiont to the Miss America pageant? Like Miss America makes a difference in anyone’s day-to-day life… give me a break.

Methinks its easier to play the martyr right now and absorb all of the attention that goes along with it then it is to fade into the background. Her 15 minutes will be over soon– hopefully sooner now that the swine flu is dominating headlines.
