   I’m sorry Neal, but I don’t get it. Please don’t laugh. I truly AM NOT being sarcastic. I’m a BSDC employee and I don’t understand what I’m supposed to see in this picture. I hope that you’re not mocking the direct care staff of BSDC because they’ve been going through enough grief and hell through all of this. Do the flowers signify something? Like the male death last year and the two female deaths this year – 1 bunch of yellow flowers and 2 bunches of purple? And the man saying, “How much is this costing me?” is supposed to be who? John Q Public? I’m probably way off base here, but I’m just trying to guess.

   I normally love and “get” your cartoons, but this one must be way over my head. I truly am sorry.

   No apology necessary, Julie. I was just trying to express how the public discussion about this seems to be reduced to talk of dollars rather than discussing what is actually best for the residents.
