I recall when Rall became a national personality for a few days back in 2004, following his “crispy brown” comments shortly after Reagan’s death. He was excoriated in national conservative media outlets, most notably in an appearance on Bill O’Reilly’s “Factor,” where he was severely bullied.

Maybe a nexus of blogging and cartooning creates bigger outlets to get shouted down by large-headed blowhards? Talk about a rough 15 minutes of fame.
