I posted this about a week ago but it disappeared in the Mysterious Post Purge of Early March 2010. The commentary may not be as witty second time around.

    5, 4, and 1 were great. But 2 should have been published. I almost had coffee squirt out of my nose on that one.

    The Journal Star will almost always choose a cartoon on a local topic over a national one. I still submit the occasional national idea on the off-chance that it’ll be good enough to justify bending the rules. In the case of #1, that didn’t work.

    I plan on someday doing a finished version of #1 in comic book page format with a mock Jack Kirby style.
