“Bomb Threat” by Bob Al-Greene

by Bob Al-Greene

AL-GREENE: “There was a bomb threat at Central last year and about 80 percent of the students took the day off. In this cartoon I played off the blatant apathy which infected the students who chose to see a serious event as a free day. This piece, which would’ve been my last high school cartoon, never ran for fear of censorship, but it’s still among my favorites.”
